Featured Speaker: JONI SWEET
About JONI SWEET
Writer, Editor, and Content Strategist
Joni Sweet is a seasoned writer, editor, and content strategist. Over the last 12 years, she’s built expertise covering the intersection of travel, wellness, and adventure. This work has taken her all over the world—trekking with gorillas in Rwanda, floating in hot air balloons over the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, soaking in the historic thermal baths of the Black Forest, and rafting down the Ganges. National Geographic published her first travel guide, “48 HOURS: New York” in multiple languages in 2016. Two years later, Lonely Planet asked Joni to contribute to its hardbound book, “Wellness Escapes.” Her travel writing has also been published by TIME, Forbes, Real Simple, Frommer’s, The Christian Science Monitor, Travel Weekly, and TripSavvy—just to name a few.
Joni enjoys the freedom and creative flexibility of self-employment as a freelance writer in the Hudson Valley. When not jet-setting or writing, you’ll find her cycling the scenic rail trails, practicing yoga, cooking vegetarian food, and playing with her two tabby cats, Tofu and Tempeh. You can learn more about her at www.jonimsweet.com.
